Bachelor’s Degree
I would need to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Statistical
Science which requires 122 credits to graduate, 42 of which must be in the
Statistical Science curriculum.
Required classes needed to graduate with that degree are
Calculus I, II, and III, Introduction to SAS, Experimental Statistics, Introduction
to Mathematical Statistics, which add up to 24 credit hours. An additional 9 credits must come from
Advanced Statistics electives such as Categorical Data Analysis and Survey
Sampling and another 9 credits from other electives.
AP credits are accepted with a score on the AP test of a 4
or 5. Assuming I receive a 4 or 5 on all of my AP exams I would receive the
following credits: 6 Credits History 2311, 2312, 6 credits Discourse 1311,1312,
3 credits Math 1337, 3 credits Psychology 1300, and 6 credits Economics 1311,
1312 for a total of 24 credits.
